What is machining?
Machining is the process of removing material with high precision from or from a casting to create a specific shape, fit or function. This is done with machine tools such as CNC milling, lathes and drilling equipment. The result is a product that meets the exact dimensions, tolerances and surface requirements necessary for industrial applications.
At BTC Castings, we perform machining for castings made of cast iron, steel, stainless steel and various high-grade alloys. Thanks to our knowledge of both the casting process and machining methods, we guarantee optimal dimensional accuracy and functionality.
CNC milling
